As of 2021 Floyd County Conservation is now charging $1 per student for an out of county field trip that is accompanied by a naturalist. Travel back in time and discover what wildlife lived in Iowa millions of years ago. Explore the nature center, hunt for fossils, hike, and more.

Iowa History Day - Worth County Conservation

Students travel back to the 1860's. Find out if your students have the knowledge to successfully move West. Spend the day doing chores, sawing fire wood, and washing laundry. Explore inside a 1800's cabin. Learn how life has changed and just how much we have to be thankful for. This experience is held in Northwood with our partner Worth County Conservation.
